Hi all,
Recently upgraded to Office 2007 and I'm happy with it - except that Outlook seems to really struggle when viewing emails with lots of HTML/web-based images.

The CPU load shoots up when scrolling up and down the message and generally performs very badly.

Does anyone know of a fix for this?

Thanks
Rich

I'm sorry I can't offer a solution but I'm just glad I'm not the only one with this problem!

It's only when loading HTML e-mails, but it slows to a crawl.

If you upgrade, there is a warning that Outlook 2003 has to be removed first (the others upgrade). This is because Outlook 2007 is a re-shelled 2003 with some very minor changes. Of all the Office 2007 applications, it's the only one that really doesnt behave any differently from 2003. You'll find a fresh install is definately the way forward.
