Is there a way to to set up outlook to be able to receive and view mail on one one pc and also see the same mail on my second pc ? I was told that there was a way to do this by saving the mail on the isp server by going to TOOLS > OPTIONS > OTHERS > ADVANCE OPTIONS > SERVICE OPTIONS > OFFLINE EDITING OPTIONS and check the web server, but this didn't work for me!

I'm not on a network by the way.

As you mentioned, there is an option to leave a copy of all emails received on your ISP email server, which means you can check the email on any outlook if setup with the same details. This does mean however, that if you send an email from another system, the first one wouldn't know it was sent.

Also you would have to export your inbox and folders to the other PC, as it will only pick up the new emails, not old ones. Hope that makes sense!

you do it going to tools >> account settings then selecting the account and selecting 'change....' click more settings then advanced then leave a copy on the server check box

Another method of achieving this is using IMAP rather that POP. I think a few ISP's offer this, but I have my email from 1and1 so can't be sure.

Allows me to check email from any PC that I use, as they all have Outlook. Stores Sent Items too

could you just have a pst somewhere on the network and have the accounts use the same one (same pst) as their data file?

this would just share the whole thing then wouldn't it? contact, emails everythin?

yep you can. Did for a client, but I seem to remember some problem with vista and corrupting the .pst or maybe it was 2007 and 2003, but I do know with 2003 and XP works a treat.
