Outlook 2007

Hi

Is there an easy way for me to 'backup' Outlook 2007? I want to do a format and OS reinstall and don't want to lose any of my folders or contacts etc.

You can export everything out to a PST. Used to be File > Import & Export, not sure where it is in 2007.

this is how i do it, export to pst probablly works the same

go to

tools, options, mail setup, data files

click open folder and it will open the folder that stores all your files for outlook

copy and paste them in to another folder which you keep with your data that you back up.

also, you should export your contacts to a pst file using the export method.

when you have set up your new windows, just copy the files back to the folder and import your contacts.
