bit of an odd one, id like some opinions on:
we have a http/https proxy which is set up in IE LAN settings as normal.
any HTML based email in outlook 2010 will not load a graphic with a https URL, but http URL images on the same email load fine. as soon as you bypass the proxy the https images load in outlook.
outlook 2007 clients are fine.
tried pretty much every article that seems relevant online.
