Outlook 2010 - Default From Address

Hi all,

I've setup a shared mailbox for a customer of mine. This shared mailbox is used by several staff to read and store email but will not be used for sending, I've NOT granted the send-as permission so users are unable to send.

The issue I am having is if a user replies to an email stored in this shared mailbox Outlook defaults to sending the reply from the address of the shared mailbox, in this instance [email protected] instead of [email protected]

I'd like the reply to be sent from [email protected].

I appreciate I can click the "From" button and change this selection but forcing [email protected] on all outgoing is a much nicer solution.

Any ideas?

Had a head scratch and Google and knocked up a few Macros to achieve this. I've replaced the ribbon buttons, New, Reply, Forward and Reply All with links to my Macros which create the new mail object and populate the From field with my desired account.

I've posted in the programming forum as think my Macro could be further tweaked to assist with rolling it out to other workstations.
