Outlook 2010 not printing from correct paper tray

The printer in question is a Canon 2380i copier using the PCL5 drivers.

The user has a Printer Settings choice for printing on Green A4 paper (Drawer 3) double-sided.
When he tries to use this, it prints from another drawer on to White A4, but double-sided.

Now, if he changes the Page Setup within Outlook 2010 to print from Drawer 3, and again sets his Printer Settings correctly, it will print on Green A4 but only single-sided!

Is there a way of disabling the 'Page Setup' gubbins in Outlook 2010 so the Printer Settings have priority, or is there a way of telling Outlook 2010 to print double-sided in Page setup?

Thanks in advance,

Yama

Check for updated printer drivers, I had a similar problem when we upgraded the office PCs to Office 2010, the HP universal printer driver screwed up on printing to letterhead paper. Updated the drivers and the issue was solved.

The newest drivers also suffer from this (Installed on 2008 R2 Enterprise).

I get the impression the problem is within Outlook 2010, somehow ignoring the print settings given to it by the printer drivers?

The application will always override the driver so keep everything at autoselect in the driver and use the application to select the paper source.

Well in Word 2010 there's an option to let Word do what it likes, or to use the Printer Settings.

In Outlook 2010 there isn't that option.
Also Outlook 2010 doesn't offer two-sided or duplex printing on it's 'page setup' or anywhere in the options.

Baffling.
