The search bar has moved to the top of the screen. This now hides the Window title such as "Inbox" & also requires an enter key to find the search results.

Does anyone know how to get the search bar back to it's original location?

That is a 'coming soon' option for me in Outlook. I have a toggle in the top right of the window for coming soon features, which if I turn if off and restart the program, will put the search bar back where it originally was.

But having a bit more of a read up about it, it looks as thought its there to stay for the moment. A lot of comments in forums about it.

I turned it off in the "coming soon" toggle, but then one day, no toggle & there it was in all it's glory. Inconvenient, doesn't work properly, I really don't know how this got through.

This is now mandated and honestly, it's horrific. It seems to be far less accurate and more convoluted to search a mailbox, for example, if you have delegation to another mailbox and want to search that.

Search has always been bad on Outlook for delegated mailboxes, if you add the mailbox in Outlook as a secondary mailbox then search works as it should.
