Outlook Alternative

How do

i'm thinking about having another go with thunderbird (i used it ages ago when it first came out but wasn't too impressed... figured i'd have another go with the new v2.0)

my one thing is, i'm forever syncing my SE phone with outlook contacts... does such a facility exist to do the same with thunderbird? i really dont want to be running both...

alternatively if anyone wants to suggest an alternative to outlook/thunderbird please fire away

- i'm trying to move away from microsoft office so as an all in package is OpenOffice still the way to go?

Yeah give Thunderbird another go. Its really quite good this 2.0 release. As for your phone syncing, had a look on the Mozilla addons site and couldn't see anything obvious. What is an SE phone though? :confused:

SE - Sony Erricson I guess.

I would have a look on Sony's Website, and see what the software will sync with...the new version may support thunderbird, but I can't remember.

Ah right. Yeah check out the software for that phone and see how it works. I've had another look on the Thunderbird addons page and I can't find anything for Sony Ericsson phones or mobiles in general. There are one or two syncing extensions but they seem a bit vague.
