Outlook and blueyonder/virgin media help

I've just reinstalled windows and just installed outlook and emails.

Thing is while before it automatically loaded all my old emails automatically this time around I'm having to send/receive and it's coming through in batches and all as unread.

have I done something wrong?

I'm wanting it linked up to my phone so whatever I receive/send on one the other receives it too.

Sounds like you havent backed up the old outlook .pst file, and the pop server as kept the emails and now its retrieving them again as it thinks you haven't had them.

Normally, I would make a copy of the .pst file and point the email account back to it after reinstall. Also, I have outlook set to delete emails from the server after retrieving.

meant to also add previously the folders in outlook was under googlemail, but now they're in the standard outlook folders.

Got it, it was some of my settings.
