Outlook and .pst folder

Hi

I copied my old outlook.pst folder onto an external hard drive, and then formatted my machine.

I put the outlook.pst folder back on after going from xp to vista 32 bit, however outlook stayed the same 2003.

Now when I go to add a contact it says the following


" the adress list could not be displayed, the contacts folder associated with the address list could not be opened, it may have been moved or deleted, or you do not have permissions"

however all my contacts are there under the contacts tab

help please

just found out when I click on new, and then click on To it brings up the select name box and there are 2 Contacts folder to choose from

one doesnt have anything in and the other has all my contacts in
