I think my friend's Outlook.com address has been hacked (outlook on his pc / edge stopped syncing.. and he had some emails from microsoft that vanished a while later).
SMS recovery says the verification method isn't working right now, or 0x80048823
Since he pays for office 365, AND can still get email on his phone has anyone had any luck contacting Microsoft via phone to get this sorted out?
Email works on his phone, but I think that's just because of how it authenticates, and it will stop soon.
The recovery wizard goes in circles, and I filled in the recovery email address and contacts / email headers about 12 days ago and got nothing
