outlook.com failing to load on IE10

A strange event has started occurring, outlook.com to replace Hotmail.com worked fine until 2 days ago, now it fails to complete loading, suggesting something wrong at their end.
This is within IE10, if I use FF it completes loading and goes to inbox, same on the ipad.
Nothing appears to have changed on my system recently.
Any suggestions on how one might resolve the matter?

download and run CCleaner and clear your caches etc, see if that helps.

Have you tried running it without add ons?

I ran without addons, and I used ccleaner
eventually I just reset IE to its original settings, and now things appear to be behaving, I am quite unsure just what it was that caused issues to begin with, but it seems resolved now.
