I am currently trying to configure Outlook to hold all of my e-mails, such as GMail, AOL etc... I have gone into:

Tools - E-Mail Accounts and added the relevant e-mail details.

But, when I try to 'test settings' out of the 5 tests the last one 'send test e-mail' does not work.

Establish network connection
Find outgoing mail server SMTP
Find incoming mail server POP3
Log into incoming mail server POP3
Send test e-mail message

I have set up my correct e-mail address in user information as my "******@gmail.com" address.

The error message I get is -

Send test e-mail message: Unable to send test message. Please verify the E-Mail address field.

Any ideas?

I find this happens sometimes, but it does not neccessarily mean Outlook is not working. Try sending a test email to one of you other email address, and see if you receive it. Also, to curb spam, some of your ISPs might require that your outgoing server requires Authentication. This setting can be found within the 'more settings' option, then outgoing server. Tick the box that says, 'My outgoing server requires Authentication'
