Hi,

I have outlook 03 setup with an IMAP email account. Once I delete an email, its not actually deleted, but a line straight through it is shown. How do I actually delete it and is there a way that does it for all, rather than going through each one?

go to the mail account settings (Tools->account settings).

select the account in question and click change.
click the "more settings" button

the last option says "purge items when switching folders while connected". With this checked, once you've deleted something and it has a line through it, to actually delete it just switch to another folder (like the sent folder), and go back to inbox and it should be deleted.

This is the only way I've found to delete all the crossed out e-mails.

This is all with Outlook 2007 but shouldn't be too differnet in any previous verisons.
