Outlook express backup restore problem

I formatted my computer this morning but before I did I went into

C:\Documents and Settings\Steven Brown\Local Settings\Application Data\Identities\{01CDCE4A-4E0C-4D24-9EB9-733B1609CD7A}\Microsoft\Outlook Express

And copied the files. I am now trying to put them back but when I open outlook express my folders are not there, the only thing it seems to have brought back are the e-mails that I didn’t put in a folder

Did you use OE's data store import tools? By the sounds of things you've manually "dragged and dropped" the .dbx files into place, and Microsoft products tend not to like it when you do that

As above, use the File > import option within the Outlook Express toolbar.
