Outlook Express .pwl files

I'm backing up stuff in preparation for a reformat. Following a tutorial on backing up Outlook Express I've got to a bit about backing up email passwords & it says they are stored as .pwl files in the Windows folder. I can't see em. Anyone know where they're supposed to be?
