Outlook - Forwarding E-mails

I've set up my work outlook to forward e-mails to my personal account.
However, it only forwards them when I log into Outlook, rendering it pointless.

I used to be able to have them forward without this before my Outlook was updated to the 2010 version. Over the weekend, I had no work e-mails but after logging in this morning my gmail now has a bunch of e-mails from the weekend.

Any ideas? Work place ICT are of no help!

I'm allowed to do it as I had it cleared.
I don't work in a position where I'd receive sensitive information and it's only for a short duration while I'm out of the office for 3 weeks.

(oh and it's set up to only forward from 1 person, and the only thing they will send me is not work related - it's part of a work based sporting challenege I'm taking part it but it happens after I've been away for 3 weeks so I won't know the arrangements unless I see the e-mail on holiday)

I may have found out how to do it. I had it set to 'forward' but there is also an option to 're-direct' so I guess the forwarding means you have to log into outlook for it to forward on...but re-directing sounds like it'll just re-direct it instead.

Will test it out

Well everything ICT related has to go through HQ in Germany for some crazy reason so if anything needed changed then i'll just forget it.

I've set it up as it used to be to re-direct e-mails instead of forward them so I'll test that out when I get a chance before I leave. If it doesn't work, i'll just leave it at that.

I don't have a need from a business perspective so they are not going to do any work to set that up for remote access etc. It's just a one off thing as I'll be out of the office for 3 weeks and an event is happneing as soon as I return - so unless I can find out about it through a quick e-mail while Im away I just won't take part.

No big deal really
