We have Outlook 2007 connected to Exchange. In the public folders if we select a group of people we can email them as one large email. Smart.
We do this by going into the relevant public folder, choosing the people we wish to email, maybe 5 / 6 or 20 at a time, then hit the little mail icon.
As I am in a contact view is there a way to automatically update these contacts with a note (or similar) to reflect the fact that we emailed them at 3pm on a friday afternoon?
Currently we open the contacts (it lets you open all of them at the same time), choose insert item, navigate to the email we just sent from the sent items folder and insert it into notes as plain text. Outlook does this as a feature it seems.
If only we could somehow automate this or if there was a function I would be very very happy.
Any ideas?
