Hi all,
I'm using MS Outlook 2003 SP2. I've recently been creating some email rules to deal with some spam I don't want. The only rule I've managed to set up to deal with this is the permanently delete this email option. What I don't like about this is that the email is actually downloaded from my ISP first (taking up my bandwidth) and is then deleted from my system.
I'm (almost) sure that outlook used to have an option to 'delete this email from the server'. I preferred this as essentially the offending email was deleted without being downloaded onto my machine first. This preferred option doesn't seem to be available with outlook 2003 sp2.
Should it be available with 2003 or am I thinking of an earlier release of outlook?
TIA,
Pete
