Outlook Keeps deleting profile

I've got a user here who has been having some really bizarre issues with her outlook profile, when she shuts down her machine and then turns back on/logs in it doesn't seem to save her outlook profile? So basically everytime she opens up her outlook we have to recreate her exchange profile.

I can't find anything like this around on the internet so i was wondering if anyone here has come across this or has any idea's as to what it could be?

I'm not sure if its happening 'everytime' as it only started yesterday (she was away on holiday) but i'm going to assume it is. As far as she knows she doesnt get any messages like "outlook wasn't closed properly last time".

I think her profile corrupted itself when she was offsite about 3 weeks ago and since then she's been having these issues, but i've deleted the corrupted profile and created a fresh one but now we have this issue?

do you use roaming profiles?

Some user's do, some don't, would that cause issue's if they were using a roaming profile?

Have you tried recreating the user profile as opposed to the outlook profile?

Might be worth a shot.

I think another one of the guys recreated the windows profile but i'm not 100% sure, i think that'll be my next port of call if she calls up tomorrow with the same issue! lol.

I guess no1 has any specific reasons then

if shes on a roaming profile, does her internet proxy settings etc get lost to? (if its not done by a group policy)

its possible that her profile might not be copying back from the server onto her machine

best way to test that is to pop something in the My Documents folder, and log off, and then log back on, and see if its still there
