Outlook Mail Files

Hi guys,

Moment of stupidity for me here :confused:

Have just installed windows on new HD. Just added Outlook. How do I get all my mail files from the old HD into new install of outlook?

If its Full Outlook and not Express, look for a .PST file on your old HDD that will contain all your mail, contacts and dairy.

I thought you had to perform an archive though first?

think i got it now

For some reason I couldn't find the mail file on the old HD - Thankfully I didn't delete windows off that, so went back into old install of windows and did it the proper way

I just use File -> import/export, and export all folders and adrress contacts to a .pst file on a removable device (or chuck it onto a partition). Then just 'import' when its up and runnin.
