Hi there

So i have reformatted on a new HD with XP ( cos im fed up with vista ) and i forgot to get my messages, but all is ok as im running the old HDD as a secondary drive.

What folder on the drive will hold my messages ?

Many thanks

Sam

Outlook data files are located in;

Documents and settings\*user profile*\local settings\application data\microsoft\outlook\*

Sorry to bump this thread (saves me starting a new one)

All the messages are stored in there, yes? does that include all the new folders that i've created?

Also can you import it into Outlook Express?

thanks

In the folder listed above there should be a file called outlook.pst. This file contains all your emails and folder structure. You should be able to import this file into another copy of outlook usinf File, import.
