Outlook NTL Account

I'm having a bit of trouble when I go to send/receive I get a sending error like it don't have the correct settings its smtp is set to ntlworld.com does anyone know if ntl have changed there smtp address?

Yeah right password, pop, smtp. Just keep getting the same error that it could not log on to the outgoing mail server

I'm with Tiscali now but my parents NTL which my email account is with is still active.
 
Every now and then I setup a new email account in Outlook with all the same settings, I then test the settings and when OK, I delete the old account.
Sometimes it just throws a wobbler.
 
Thats Outlook for you though - has a curious habit of just not working until you reset your mail settings...

when using another ISP and ntl/virgin media email accounts you have to use the pop.ntlworld.com BUT your SMTP must be from your NEW ISP...

i have a simmilar situation....

i have a freeserve account, i have to use the same thing...

POP = FREESERVE POP

SMTP = NTL SMTP SERVER - or whatever your provider is.
