Outlook opening Hotmail in browser window

I just updated to IE 8 beta 2 - not out of choice, had to use a particular site which doesn't like Firefox.

Since updating, when I try to open my Hotmail folder in Outlook (2002 version) it opens up a browser window instead of showing the contents in Outlook itself.

Is there anyway I can turn this off? It's immensely annoying :mad:

I am interested to know which site required you to use IE8 Beta 2, and not 7.

Was when I was registering for Warhammer Online. Not so much I needed the beta version, but my IE was out of date and it was the first thing I saw on the Microsoft website.

Well.. don't use a BETA product, and use their stable and support browser - IE7.

Cheers for the constructive criticism. For the record, I did try to use IE7 and it wasn't working.
Let me just get my time machine, go back and warn past Qdos that I shouldn't have done that... I'll take this sports almanac back with me as well. :rolleyes:
