Hi Guys, I'm using Office 2010 here, because I'm on a 128Gb SSD & have 500Gb D:/ I thought it would make sense to format & reinstall anything I can to D:.

However I wanted to keep all existing contacts / Emails, I used the export facility within Outlook to complete what I thought would be this backup. I now got about all I can off C:/ and have just imported the .pst file into Outlook with no sign of any contacts or emails.

Is there something I missed, can anyone help please?

Cheers hondo

When exporting I normally select the top folder (personal folders) and then tick the box for export all subfolders. This should grab everything.

You can always just copy the outlook.pst folder from c:\users\username\appdata\local\microsoft\outlook. There should be one for each of your accounts unless you've got an exchange account in which case you don't need to export it.

Oh, you'll also probably want to copy the autofill contacts, they're located in c:\users\username\appdata\local\microsoft\outlook\roamcache\stream_autocomplete_randomcrap

When re-adding the autofill you'll need to set up the accounts, open up outlook, send an e-mail or two, close outlook and import your old autocomplete history using a tool from nirsoft.net into the newly created autocomplete file.

Thanks very much Antar Bolaeisk for your reply. :)

I honestly don't know what I've done, but I seem to have sorted it out now. :D

The only thing that annoys me, I need to do it again to find out what it was I did. :o
