Hi all,

just a quick query, is it actually possible to set up a rule in Outlook 2000 or 2003, whereas if someone sends you an email with a blank subject, then the email can be deleted and a email sent saying emails with no subject are deleted. i know you can do this providing a string is entered, (I.E. if Test was entered, then any message with "Test" as the subject would follow the rule)

any possible input would be appricieated.

I think you've correctly identified the problem is the ability to recognise blank subject lines or thinking slightly laterally, the ability to specify "any" content in the subject line with the exception of a null subject. Unfortunately I have no idea how to specify either.......:(

well there is a way around this where as you select each character to from a to z as a an exception, so that if 1 character was in the subject then the rule would not be run. only problem with this is if you dont add numbers or have just characters like " or ?. its all specific to what the user requires.
