just done a reinstall of windows. Thought that copying my email account details from laptop outlook to desktop outlook would be simple. Not so!
For some unknown reason it wont let me connect to the outgoing smtp server. I have retyped in all the details, got hold of work colleagues details but it wont work. I can collect all my emails from my account but cant send any emails. Only thing i can think of that could be causing this problem is the presence of zone alarm.
Has anyone got any ideas becuase this has seriosly given me a mahjor headache today.
