Outlook Tracking Options

Quick question...is it possible to have different racking options for two email accounts on Outlook.....

In work I have my own account under my name and also have access to a Helpdesk email account that is shared between 5 others.

on my own account, I normally have tracking turned on, but one of the other Helpdesk peeps mentioned that they were getting a bit annoyed by the delivery and read receipt emails that were coming back when I send emails via the Helpdesk account.

So, was wanting to have tracking on for my account and off for the helpdesk, but can't seem to find a way of doing it....all I can do is turn it on or off for both....

I think this is an Outlook Profile level setting so it would apply to all accounts you have setup within the Profile.

There are a couple of options which may mitigate the issue of an inbox full for receipts; in the Tracking settings there are two options to automatically update tracking information to the original sent item and then remove the receipts.

"Update tracking information, and then delete responses that don't contain comments." and "After updating tracking information, move receipt to : <deleted items>".

Not sure how well they actually work as I don't use them... but I don't see why they wouldn't as described.
 
Cheers for that...will have a look.

Have found another solution...but is a bit of a faff....have tracking turned off but for each email that I send from personal account, go to the Options tab and then tick the delivery and read receipt radio boxes
