Outstanding Logitech

They were utterly useless whan I needed a new USB transmitter for a mouse, tough luck buy a new mouse was the attitude

same here brought a mx3200 mouse and keyboard broke the wireless transmiter and it was just a case of tough luck buy a new one. i think it was around £80 at the time and couldnt afford a new set

so brought a cheapo logitech wireless mouse and kb as a replacement. and out of curiosity tried to sync the mx3200 and ill be a ***** ******* **** weasel it worked still using it today. well the wife is, result

I haven't had to send anything back yet, but I have expensive Logitech speakers and mice so hopefully I'm safe in the knowledge they'll help if anything does go wrong! :P

Seems a lot of bad CS is from requiring USB wireless transmitters - another reason never to get a wireless kb/mouse :p

Ive had great experience with Logitech. Heres my story so far:

Had a Logitech G7 that went wroung (started producing double clicks). This was discontinued so they sent me a MX revolution, which has been working for 2years + now.

My 2nd one was the greatest. I Bought a Z5400 5.1 speaker set. The rear left speaker stopped working so I rang logitech asking if I could have a new left rear. The awnser was no the speakers are discontinued. So I asked them where does this leave me? There awnser we will send you a set of Z5500's. So £100 speakers just became a £400+ set.

But sadly that set of Z5500's broke, so I rang Logitech and they explained they were out of warranty as they were a replacement etc. I was very sad at this point as I didnt want to spend £350 on speakers. Without any fuss the Customer Service agent said dont worry sir we will give you £200 off a new set of z5500's online. So £150 later I had a new set arrived at my door. I then sold the rest of the working bits of my broken z5500's on ebay and made the £150 up.

RESULT :D

Logitech have replaced two items for me over the years, both times I've been impressed. Top CS, just hope they're not too abused with people taking advantage (I've read a few things before in other forums) as I'd love them to stay being great.

Wireless is bad for mice imo

Logitech CS has been increadible to me. I emailed them to ask if I could buy a set of feet that come with an mx518 (mine had worn off from all the fragging) and to my supprise they offered to give me a new mx518 foc, no proof of purchase required, didn't have to send it back.

While this may cost them a few bob looking after customers like this I am sure the next mouse/keyboard/speaker set will most definatly be Logitech.

My experience was because of the receiver. My MX Rev dongle broke and instead of replacing just the receiver they sent a brand new boxed MX Rev. Didn't have to send anything back to them and they didn't need a receipt.

Speaking of good CS I recently sent off a pair of earphones back to Hifi Headphones for the 4th time to be replaced, the two pieces of plastic holding the earphone together had snapped apart on all 4 pairs. Each time the turnaround was fantastic, they sent me a brand new boxed pair recieving it 2-3 days after I them off.

Its been about a year since I first bought the headphones and the warranty was about to run out, despite this the CS rep offered me store credit to the full value of the headphones (£55 when I purchased them last year) as I'd so many problems with them.

Shame Powercolor haven't got a decent customer service department like Logitech, send a part back to them under warranty, and because they don't make it anymore, they shaft you with less than a third of what you paid for it as a suitable replacement

i aint had any problems with my products from them so far (touch wood) but the people who have phoned them and not had anything done, how many times did u try. im guessing only once thats not the way to do it lol... took me at least 12 calls to sony for them to replace somthing for me.

I'd swear there was someone on here a while back who was in pretty major hot water for getting multiple sets of speakers off Logitech and selling them on Ebay?
Anyone else remember that incident :)

Fantastic CS, there are many many other threads about them sending out products no questions asked, I myself have had two MX3200 sets replaced for minor niggles and my G5 replace by a G500 (which I LOVE).

Yea think the person admitted it anonymously via that email confessions thread. Apparently Logitech clocked onto what he was doing and sent him a bill for the total amount he had claimed which was £10,000 or something. lol.

It has arrived

It arrived today after about a weeks wait.

Some pic's :D

old one on the left.

It is a sweet mouse at £90, but i got for free because of Logitech's great service.

After reading such wonderful stuff about their CS , and the 100s of people that had done the exact same i was attempting I contacted them about a mouse issue, I was told where i could buy new feet for £10, i said but what about all these people that you have helped, literally 100s of pages of websites, no they are 10 quid buy them yourself...

no so great for me
