Hello @ all,
Im planning to overclock my new CPU and ill have to use the FSB to do this, the issue i have is that ATM it runs at full load at about 44 deg C and TBH im not happy with that, but what are the normal Operating Temperatures? and what temps are safe for me to overclock?

its using a cooler from an FX-55 direct Copper heatpipe, i also am worried that i have used to much thermal paste, but we will see.

thanks guys!

I would have though that load temps under 50c are pretty good, depending on what the cpu's overclocked to / cooler used. X2's can handle 55-60c on full load, but that's not recommended afaik( if you're unhappy with 44c@load, then you'll never get near these temps anyway ). Idle temps are normally around the 25-30c mark.

For a comparison, my 4200+ runs at 27-30c@idle / 49-51c@load in Orthos after 30mins. This is at 2.5ghz / 1.35vcore with a Freezer64Pro.

BTW what are you using to measure your temps. Coretemp / Speedfan, or your motherboards app ?

Im using Speedfan! lol, ok, so just as i have been told, the temps i have are ok, and i still got some playing to do, that artic frezer Pro does that require the M/b to be removed so you can fit the cooler?

No motherboard removal required with the Freezer64 Pro, as it uses the standard 939 socket bracket.
