Hello!

Have a very bad grubby oven door (not mine) and I have used the bicarbonate of soda method with water and white vinegar...and gone through 3 of those mini containers of bicarbonate.

Any specific products you guys can recommend? It IS getting better...but now very slow progress.

Like you i tried everything else. Ended up popping a layer of 'Big wipes Spray' on and left to dwell for 5-10 mins, then approached with the scraper. Didn't really need to apply any pressure.

Try with a new stanley blade on a corner and see what happens. Just make sure the blade is flat to the glass and at a clean enough angle. Could achieve the same with that but will take a little longer.

Get one of those oven cleaner kits that come with the plastic bags. Oven Pride? Remove the glass and pop it in the bag with the cleaner, leave to soak for few hours then remove, scrub and should come off. Or use a glass scraper from local DIY place which should get it off quickly.

Oven mate cleaning gel, leave it on for a few hours but as long as possible. Does the whole of the oven, you can also put gel on the shelves then put them in the bag they provide to let it soak in. Prefer it being a gel as it doesn't run like some of the other more liquid products.

Although as above you could get someone in to blitz it then maintain it after yourself.

Random videos on social media reliably inform me that 'Pink Stuff' cleaner and a 'Scrub Daddy' will have that looking brand new in about 30 seconds

Try some wood ash applied with a damp paper towel. I use it on the glass of the stove and it works really well. Try a small area at first as the burnt on grease you find in an oven may be a bit harder to remove.

Yeah another thing people swear by is using a bog standard finish dishwasher tablet on it with a bit of water rubbing with the corner like you would an eraser. I didnt have any luck with that but others say it works...

What others have said, particularly SoliD's window scraper for removing over paint on windows, it will also work on the inside if it's enamelled as that's essentially glass. If you want to get any bits that doesn't remove get a pack of 3x Spontex Heavy Duty Scourer Pads (supermarkets own brands Scouring pads suck IMO) and some cream cleaner.

Scraper and/or Caustic Soda (wear gloves and eye protection - it's nasty stuff) and/or metal scrubby jobs
It's what we use for the hog roast machines at work.
