Went for a walk on Ogden Water with my family while I was visiting over the weekend. I took quite a lot of pics but mainly of my family which would bore you all. These are the more interesting ones, some of which I think I underexposed a bit too much!

Appreciate any critique and comments

Thanks :) they were taken with a Canon 20D and Sigma 100-300 at full stretch. I have tried a 100% crop but I havent been able to get any kind of easy on the eye composition from it.

not sure, maybe a branch? I hadnt noticed it until now either!

Some more from the same day - I had to snipe these at full stretch with the telephoto, they didnt like me being around and scarpered once I started snapping!

2 and 3 are 100% crops

Those last few photos could do with being processed to produce a more punchy image

They have been processed a bit as they were flat to begin with... the trouble I had with them was trying to get the contrast up while keeping some detail - I appreciate they are underexposed but it was one of those occasions where you dont expect to see wildlife and you dont have time to play around with the camera.

Feel free to have a bash though :)
