over 2000 error logs in event viewer

in the event viewer under system over the past 7 days there are over 2300 error messages with the following

The Remote Access Connection Manager service depends on the Telephony service which failed to start because of the following error:
The service cannot be started, either because it is disabled or because it has no enabled devices associated with it.

dont know what its happening as im not using anything for remote access, and the error appears about every 20 seconds.

anyone know how to track down what is causing it

Why not disable the service if you aren't using it. Failing that check the telephony service and see why it's not starting. It's a dependency for the RAC Manager service.

Although i assume you've done this already as it pretty much tells you this in the error.
