just got my asus 5850 today but only getting about 10fps more on bad company 2 then my 8800gtx,so i going to over clock it what the best software to do this,it did come with asus smart doctor and ati over ride are these any good

You can use ATI Overdrive from Catalyst Control center, make sure you test your overclock with something like MSI Kombuster.

Asus Smart Doctor is also a good app but if you can do it from CCC then there shouldn't be a problem.

What CPU have you got, your cpu might be bottlenecking it.

Don't forget tho, the 5850 will be using dx11 whereas the 8800gtx was using dx9/10. Dx11 does hit on the fps.

8gb ddr2

tried msi after burn so far so good,3dmark o6 want up by 500,not sure is 3dmark06 is best to test my gpu,ANY OTHER FREE SOFT WARE TO TEST GPU?
next I want to over clock my quad core any tips I new to over clocking.thanks
