Hi all

The question is.....
Ive been overclocking my g/card the make is xfx 8800 GTX

ive added water cooling and im getting some nice clocks with it staying cool
so far im @ 651 / 1022
Ive not touche dthe bios etc for voltages etc

What i need to know is can i damage the card by over clocking it without touching voltage and the card is below 75-80 c full load

Thanks in advance

use ati tool, you should be fine, just keep the temps safe. the computer will crash if the o/c is unstable anyway resetting the clock

ill change it now .. but surly it would be easy for them to restrict the sig to 4 line instead of letting you fill it all in :P

And the mem speed is 1022 but as its double i thought i would double it :)

When you increased the overclock stress the card by running some demo's or games and look for image corruption, either white dots or big tears on the screen, or until you get a lockup.

With my 8800GTS I can clock to 650/2000 without issue but 675/2000 lockes up in Oblivion after a few minutes, I don't get any image corruption.
