Hi guys i have a DFi lan party x48 trs, running a q6600 2.4 gig and 4gb of 1066 ram.

No the mobo would not detect the ram speed so i had to set it manually, input timings, voltages etc. its running a 266/1066.

CPU is at 266.

I decided to run prime to tes the ram settings. U have not done it over night, today afer about an hour it came up with this (i was running orthos at the same time):

FATAL ERROR: Rounding was 0.5, expected less than 0.4
Hardware failure detected, consult stress.txt file.

Did not tell me waht the hardware failure was....

Sencond thing, my idle cpu temp is about 35deg when fully loaded at stock it reaches about 65 (with a zalman cooler). Is this ok to Over clock to 3.0ghz (333FSBx9 multi) or would you say better cooling? I may have put too much paste on the cpu, which could effect it. The Zalman heatpipes are cool to touch though.

Cheers
