so with my base stats on my pc
i5 3570k oc to 4.6
gtx 970 msi edition

on the steam vr check i score 6.8
spent a few hours this after noon oveclocking my card and now with a stable over clock im scoring 8.4 in the steam vr test, i think thats a pretty decent increase if you ask me.
any body else had success in oc'ing for vr?

I have a Geforce GTX970, with an i5 6400 OC to 4.5GHZ and with a big OC on the card I can get 8.9 in the VR check however I seemed to get lots of crashes when playing in VR so have backed it off to 4.4GHZ on the CPU and backed off the GPU OC a bit which still gives me 8.7 in the VR check but it seems stable. M

Memory clock speed on the GPU seemed to make the biggest difference for me in VR, I'm currently running at 7998Mhz (+998) on the memory and 1423 Mhz (+170) on the GPU clock. Temperature wise it does not go above 64 degrees under full load.

Damn. I only tried at 500mhz on the members and could only manage 140 on core with a voltage of +60 otherwise I would get artifacts in valley. Going to play around a bit more with it tomorrow as I have a day off. But quite please with the results so far
