is it possible to set the thing to run full whack all the time? at the moment my fan is only spinning at 1200rpm but i've seen it go at 2700rpm on warmer days. i've tried disabling/enabling smart fan control in the bios and tried pwm/voltage modes but it just won't go any faster. the reason i'm asking is because i've just fitted a q6600 but i only have the cooler from my e2180 
it's idling around 50-55c @ stock so i'm sure if the fan were to spin a little faster, it might get the temps down a little (of course this is only a temporary measure until the weekend when i can afford to buy a proper cooler.

speedfan doesn't do anything and i've also tried the system fan 1/2 headers on the board. no joy.....
