Overclock 7800GTX

Hello people

I done a full format today , all running sweet , went to clock my 7800gtx and i have lost the menu for overclocking on the 7800GTX tab

Can any one help

If you're using the classic control panel then you need to install coolbits 2.0 to get the overclocking options.

yeh mate as above use a coolbit registry.

btw is yours the 256mb version of a 7800gtx?

mines a XFX 7800gtx 256mb origonal 490/1300 and iv got it up to 530/1480 with standard air cooler on it. it overclocks well.

i gained upto 30fps on the Source Engine video stress test

Many Thanks people , yes its the 7800GTX 256 What setting does you guys use for 2D settings , do you clock them also or leave as standard ?

I did try to clock settings to 550 / 1.30 but it would not let me , i pressed test changes and says " The test failed to run at the selected clock frequencies ?

Clock Frequencies are now 500 / 1.30

Leave the 2D speed at default, increasing that will not give you a faster system and will only use more power and create more heat.

If the test fails the overclock will not work so set it lower and test in some games etc....
