hi guys

I am a noob when it comes to over-clocking i have never done anything of the sort so i'm behind the times i've googled it and got the general idea but everything i try computer always crashes

How do you do it?

I have a Gigabyte GA-EG41MF-US2H Rev1.0
Q9400 Intel (2.66ghz)
4Gb DD2 800 Ram

I've tried easytune6 but i want to do it via bios, i have core temp and currently at stock i run at 38oC under load so with the heat i could push my cpu i want to get it upto 4Ghz so it will keep preforming, but i just mainly want to learn

What roughly do i need to do in bios to get say 3Ghz
I no FSB needs to be 370mhz but what about everything else anything over 340 and crash

Thanks if you can help
