A bit of a positive advert for the Apex Ultra Watercooling kit first. Never WC'ed before, dead easy to install (although the instructions are a bit on the badly written side) but most of it is common sense. Works a treat.

When my watercooling first arrived I got my processor up to 2.6 no problems and left it at that (Although strangely in games now and again I'll get some stuttering that I'm sure was not there running the processor at stock. Not sure if this has something to do with it). Today I thought I'd try for a bit more but seem to have hit a wall.

Settings currently are:

FSB: 240, x11, x4 = 2640
I've got the memory on 166 although I probably don't need to with what I have I don't think?

That extra 3 points on the FSB has been the wall. My vcore was 1.45 with the FSB on 237 but now I can't get prime to run even though I've moved the vcore on up to 1.525. Should I up the voltage more or have I hit a wall with this processor?

Temps don't seem to be a problem full loading on both cores at about 41.

im currently clocking my San Diego 3700 m8 with near enough the same results as you as im nearly maxed out on the vcore but full load is only @ 41c, but i seem to be getting somewhere by using the 166 divider, currently @ 240FSB watching Prime95 go through the tests praying it doesnt fail :), try lowering the HTT to 3x

I'm below 250 so 4x should be ok. I've tried the mem on 166, still no joy. I'll play with the volts a bit more but maybe I've reached the limit for this cpu.
