Overclock Core voltage & Core speed not dropping

I followed the OC guide from the video below and applied the Adaptive OC but my Core voltage and Core speed don't drop when the system is idling. Is there something else that needs to be tweaked?

You really need to learn and understand how overclocking works with voltages etc.

Simply following a random YouTube video and punching in some arbitrary settings might work but also might not.

'adaptive OC' immediately springs out as potentially problematic.

Why is it problematic? Everyone says Adaptive is recommended for day-to-day use. Why would I want the clock speed/voltage to be constantly at their peaks when I'm not at my PC?
This is why I would like to set up an Adaptive and Manual profile for when I want constant voltage/speed.

BTW I found why my clocks were not dropping. It was the AURA (LightingService.exe) that was constantly using resources.
