overclock E8600 @ 4,5 ghz problem..

hii !

i have a problem with my new E8600 !!

I overclock my E8600 @ 4,5 ghz and run on Prime95 !

8 min. later on the CORE 0: FATAL ERROR Rounding was 0.5 expected less than 0.4 !

I have no idea !

Here is my settings in the Bios (Asus P5k-e)

Ai Overclock Tuner: Manuall

Cpu Ratio Setting: 10.0

FSB Strap to north bridge: Auto

FSB Frequency: 420

Pcie Frequency: 100

Dram Frequency: DDR2-1009 mhz

Dram Command Rate: 2N

Dram Timing Control: Auto

Timinginformation: 5-5-5-15-3-54-6-3-3

Dram Static Read Control: Auto

Transaction booster: Auto

CPU Voltage: 1.3125 V

CPU Pill Voltage: 1.60 V

FSB Termination Voltage: 1.20 V

Dram Voltage: 2.00 V

NB Voltage: 1.40 V

SB Voltage: 1.05 V

Clock Over - changing voltage: Auto

thanks for the answer !! yes but i cant upping the cpu voltage -.- i can upping only max. to 1.3125 V

If not then only option is to lower the cpu clock speed down, until prime dos'nt fail

4.5Ghz on that CPU is pretty high... Sweet spot is about 4.2Ghz. Maybe the CPU will not do that speed? drop the FSB down until you get it stable and that will be your limit.

E8600 ? 4,5 ghz high? mhm i dont now

Also those cpu's can easily hit 4.5 or more on decent cooling, now what kind of cooling have you got, what temps are u getting when prime fails, this info will be usefully to know, as it may not be a voltage issue, could easily be a heat issue too.

also.. sorry guys.. that problem was on 4,2 ghz ! and not on 4,5 ghz ! Prime95 run now.. 4,1 ghz !

if i upping my e8600 to 4,5 ghz ... the pc started until the login ! then the going back to the bios -.- but i need 4,5 ghz !! I would be happy when you HELP ME PLEASE

and as im not familiar with your motherboard i can't really help further, as i can't tell u where stuff is.

So for now just be happy with 4.1ghz, im sure someone with more knowledge of ur motherboard will help at some point, just u will have to be paitent.
