Not sure whats going on, never checked till today my overclock shows default 3.4Ghz on CPU-Z and coretemp.

Ran a prime95 max temp is 45...at 100% load.

System is the z77a-g43
i5 3570k 3.4 - 4.4
gtx 760

Any ideas??

Hi, read your mobo manual there could be a profile stored for the overclock of 4.4 in the Bios. If so read on how to install it, most mobo's you can save a overclock setting.

If not give the OCUK Tech's a ring or send them a e-mail and they will sort you out. Have your Order No handy as well as they will ask for that.

Well that was wierd, all night im trying, looking, loading..and all of a sudden i saved a profile and away it went got the full speed...

must have had to save it or something before using it i guess. Anyways all sorted! for now!

Yep, be nice if OCUK would drop a note in the box telling you the oc isn't active and how to activate it, after all, those who normally buy pre overclocked gear do so because they probably haven't a clue or experience with the bios, not saying OP is inexperienced, but this was the case with me a couple of years ago and what seems very simple now was double dutch a couple of years back, and I still got a lot to learn as my knowledge is still very basic compared to most on here.

I'm an expert in getting browns and list though, is delidding a 4770K as easy as delidding a bottle of beer? :D:D

I echo everything you just said ;)

Yeah me too I got mine from OC and powered it all up to find it was running stock

Phoned OC and they were extremely helpful on the phone and explained where in the BIOS to find my OC profile

Apparently its all returned to stock before its sent because your obviously rebuilding the PC and adding HDs and Soundcards and GFX cards, so you rebuild on stock and if that all works, then you OC it, and if there is a problem the guy said they are more than happy to talk it all over with you, really helpful guys I was very impressed with my service :)
