hello ,

please can you tell me why I have started getting a debug 40 ,meaning my pc is awaking from a deep sleep. all the time .

this has happended because i have increased the LLC to extreme ... this seems to have helped my overclock be more stable , but is giving me this debug code and i dont know why or how to stop it ... or if i need to ?

please help thanks

my overclock setting are

47 Multi by all cores
Vcore 1.38v
VCCSA 1.195
VTT 1.15
DRAM voltage 1.65v
PLL 1.65
LLC extreme
For RAM , XMP

Mother board is ASUS Rampage IV extreme

Thanks

Are you using a offset voltage or not as you may have now set it to not power save so one of devices is waking PC.

im not sure :s ... the settting i have showen are all i have changed from default.
how would i check this ?
and what can i do to fix this if this is the issue ?

thx

Does your PC clock down to idle speed AND voltage or stays at full speed or/AND full voltage (check with CPU-Z) ?

I am just going through some ideas as you said it was fine before you changed LLC.

LLC at extreme is a crazy setting the CPU actually gets overvolted quite hard and all the fets take a much higher load too. High is the max for 24/7 on ambient cooling to be honest.

If you want more Vcore just add some not more LLC.

Disable C states and Speed step will help this problem.

Ok so i have done this, and i still getting debug 40 .

I have noticed this is only happening now when i first boot my pc up , but if i then restart it go's away.

what can i try next to fix this issue ?

thx

If its only on start up you have a cold boot issue with RAM training. Try dropping the RAM to 2133 and see if the problem goes. Once you have done this we can then see how to tune teh RAM at 2400 so no problems exist.

You could also try 125 strap OC with RAM at 2333mhz
