recently got a titan goliath system with the i7 920. it was overclocked to 3.20 and i used a program called everest to check. I dont know what made me load it back up however it appears the overclock is somehow gone? i have not made any hardware or bios changes.

Any idea how i can get this sorted? im a total overclock n00b and have never done it before lolz

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks.

Like i said I used a program called everest which tells you what clock speeds ure components are running at; i loaded that back up and it used to say i7 920 2.6 @ 3.2ghz now it's just giving the standard clock speed. I have checked this before just after boot and it's always read 3.2.

Thanks much for the help guys, a quick jump into the bios revealed that the system had to revert back to standard clock speeds etc due to boot failures caused by an overclock. I re applied the overclock. Now for a new issue. As identified above I did not overclock this system myself this was done by overclockers; the system is advertised as an overclocked cpu, should it not be tested to insure it runs stable with no boot failures?? Anyway any tips on how I can now keep the overclock but stop the annoying boot failure problem? If u guys need bios values I could get them in my next post.

The CPU vcore is normally set at 1.30000 and is currently set to 1.31250. Is this the value I should change?

What bios values would be helpfully bearing in mind
I'm an overclock n00b.

yes that is the right settting and if that is its value when overclocked try putting it up two notches and then stabillity test your pc. if that dont work you may want to search for the i7 verclocking thrread on here as that will have all the information you need or you could contact ocuk customer suppert and they will help you.
