Overclock i7 960 Question

Hi all of you!!!
I have x58 mobo with i7 960 (3.2) stock cooler ,1333 8gb kingston,ati r9 280x
Question is:
If i change only bclk from 133 to 150 the cpu cpu goes from 3.2 to 3.6
Is this good?safe?stable?dangerus?
Is it effects ram or gpu or only ram?
(i want only to reach 3.6,only this and not higher.

Raising the BCLK will increase the speed of the RAM, it wont change anything with the GPU. You may find you have to have a small bump in volts to get it to 3.6. Also this will increase the heat generated, the stock cooler may not be up to the task of keeping it within normal temperatures.


Either way you need to have a read of some basic x58 overclocking guide, because no offense but you don't seem to have much of a clue and most likely you will just end up with an unstable system.
