I have a "Titan Wave" Intel Core i7 5820K. I recently updated the bios. As soon as I reapply the overclock to 3.8ghz. The keyboard and mouse lock and I get a boot error on windows 7 any ideas.

Have you just altered the clock speed, or tuned voltages as well? As a pre-overclocked machine the BIOS would have been tuned for you - upgrading the BIOS would have overwritten these settings.

As #2 said, update BIOS usually factory reset all the settings, you should backup them before doing that :( If you have no experience for OC, I'd recommend you contact the customer service, they may help you to tweak your rig again.
