Overclock nub

hi guys can any of you give me some simple instructions on how to get my 6600 to 3gig i dont really fancy changing anything in with out knowing what im doing incase it gos **** up. Current spec

Intel Core 2 DUO E6600,Asus P5W DH Deluxe,Corsair 2GB DDR2 XMS2,BFG GeForce 7950 GT OC 512MB Zalman CNPS9700-LED Aero Flower.
