I have posted before regards my 5000+ Black Edition AMD X2 and a possible overclock via multiplier changes.
My MSI K9NGM2 ( don't ask ) board has no overclock options and i'm gutted as with a simple click of a button, the multiplier can be upped from 13x to 15x to produce 3Ghz Clock, at a stable state and with good temperatures.
I've noticed that nTune enables a user to select 'CPU' and tune system for a time between 20 minutes / 12 hours.
How useful is this as an OC tool, and is it risky to my system in any way ? ie. is there a chance of death, or can i just click to revert to defaults....
20 minutes coarse tuning ... will that, if focused on CPU and nothing else, increase my clock speed in a stable manor ?
